Legend of Zelda x Pokemon crossover!! I posted this on tumblr a few days ago and ended up getting so much positive feedback, so I'd love to share it with the deviantART community as well. (: Thanks also to Kotaku and the Reddit community for featuring me ;w;/

did you chose the pokemon through pokedex entires or looks?

I chose on a combination of looks and Pokemon personalities. For example, Zelda's Absol is a representation of Sheik! Ninetales is a representation of Impa, the loyal protector, and Dragonair and Espeon both have very mystical powers and elegant exteriors to represent the Goddess Hylia and Naryu. But I chose specifically not to use any legendaries in their teams (except Adult Link, who I gave a Celebi) because I'm generally not a fan of legendaries and think they shouldn't be part of anyone's team unless there is a specific story plot or reason.
That ended up brewing a really long comment! Hope that was enlightening and maybe a little entertaining haha. (:
