Description
It's 11 pm and I'm alone at home. It's almost winter and almost all leaves are lying on the ground. It's a bit cold, but I have my blanket and my pillow. They give me a bit of comfort.
My parents aren't at home right now. They went with some friends to the theater to see an operette. I'm not interested in that, that's because I didn't wanted to go. My parents trust me. They made me something to eat. I just had to put it in the microwave. They said I can watch movies until 10 pm. It's Friday today, so it's okay to stay up that late. My parents don't come home until midnight.
Do you have sometimes the feeling of being watched or you're not alone at home? I think that's the case right now... I'm just a little filly and can't quite use magic. I watched a movie earlier and suddenly I got the feeling of not being alone. I had the lights on in the living room and watched into the dark floor. I just got the feeling of watching in someones eyes in the dark. I quickly turned on the light in the floor and everything was like always. I went back into the living room and watched my movie. The feeling didn't go away... The movie endet and it was almost 10 pm. I turned off the tv and went fast into my room and turned off the lights. I closed my door and went to bed. The feeling still follows me. I looked around my room, but I saw nothing new. Suddenly, I heard some steps outside on the floor. I took my blanket and my pillow.
That's how I got here... I'm sitting beside the door and listen what's going on out there. I just hear steps on the floor and it stops sometimes. It seems like its walking the floor up and down like it's waiting for me to get out of my room. I lock the door as quiet as I'm able to. Why would someone wants to hurt a filly? I didn't do anything bad! What's out there? At one hoof I'm too afraid to go out and confront the someone who's out there and on the other hoof I'm curious....curiousity can be deadly sometimes. The most logical decision is to stay put and not open the door.
The frontdoor! My parents? Already? Or is the someone gone now? I don't hear anything... What if the someone attacks my parents? They don't know that we have an uninvited visitor! They think I'm asleep, so they won't call for me to greet me like always. I can't get any clue who's out there right now. It's too early for my parents to come home, but maybe it ended earlier or they walked fast, because they're worried about me. What if the someone just opened and closed the frontdoor to confuse me? I looked through the keyhole...but I just see darkness. If my parents came home, they must be in their room now. How can I know if my parents are here and where the someone is? If the someone is still here...does it want to attack my parents? Does it want to lure me in the floor? But if my parents are in their room and the someone attacks them instead of me I just can't sit here and wait until everything is over...just in case...I have to protect my parents. I unlock my door and open it a bit. I can't see anyone or hear anything. Everything is quiet and dark...if the someone wants to harm my parents, it'll have to deal with me! I leave my blanket and pillow here, they would just hold me down. Okay...now or never... -runs into the darkness-
What do you think happend? You know that Vanessa survives this no matter what. But will she have a traumatic event and has to go to the hospital? Or are her parents simply at home this soon and are in their room to not disturb the sleep of Vanessa? Was everything just her imagination or even just a nightmare? It's up to you what really happened. It could be anything.
Don't forget: curiousity can be deadly sometimes.
