Description Rose of Death

Petals, so soft,
Fall away,
This thought, remembered oft,
Leads thy misery away.

Thorns, so sharp,
Prick and sting,
Cold fingers call on the Death Angel's harp,
In thy soul the strains ring.

A stem, so straight,
Supporting the guilt, so heavy,
But even this cannot postpone the fate,
When the petals drift to thee, be ready.

A leaf, so protective,
Can hid the souls,
With twisted perspectives,
Your dreams they shall patrol.

Beware, this rose of death,
Do not fall into its trap,
It may be thy last breath,
Around you its evil will wrap.
