I am sure a lot of you have heard of the show "Death Battle" on ScrewAttack.com and youtube.com I recommend you guys watch some of their fights because they are pretty cool. They have done awesome fights like Goku vs Superman, Mario vs Sonic, to more obscure fights like Rainbow Dash vs Starscream and even Justin Bieber vs Rebecca Black. In my opinion, the best fight they have ever done is Link vs Cloud www.youtube.com/watch?v=-o2SV6…The picture above is an edited version of another picture that was on the screwattack website that I just felt needed some extra touches. The amount of damage each character has. Like in Super Smash Bros. I really don't know who would win this fight (I think it would be Link) but I just thought it would be a cool effect to add to the picture.

I do agree this was one of the better ones and I in general agree with all of their conclusion with the exception of spiderman vs batman, that one was complete bull

Well their logic for Spider-Man vs Batman made sense. If both had been given time to prepare it would be close to impossible to see who would win. As for having them fight with their standard equipment I have to agree with their outcome. I like Batman more but he would need time to beat Spider-Man. That's my opinion though lol

Their were several articles of batmans basic arsenal they left out most obvious of all the batmobile and also neglected the fact that Batman would already have a basic understanding of Spider-mans fighting style from fighting the DC villain Blackspider who has essentially the same abilities minus Spidey's natural strength and intelligence

To be fair, Spiderman's spider sense, did give Spiderman the advantage over most of Batman's equipment and stealth.

That's just it though, this is batman, the guy who sneaks into the same room as Superman who can see and hear cell division in real time and Martian manhunter who can pick a single mind out of a thousand from 30 miles away, if neither of them can tell when he enters or leaves the room, Spidey wouldn't have a snow balls chance in Hell

Good point, but remember Spiderman has accomplished almost as much as Batman, but you know... Spider Sense is a real bitch. But if Batman just knew about the Spider Sense, then the fight would have been over when it started.

Exactly. Now if it were Batman Beyond then it would be a lot harder for Spidey. He probably could win that too but with radar (basically what spider sense is) Terry would be able to fight it.

To be completely honest, I feel that Link & Cloud Strife should be set against different opponents and I do indeed have such opponents in mind...

These match-ups make a lot more sense then setting Cloud Strife against Link, in the case of Link vs Simon Belmont, both have a lot in common for different reasons in addition to a legitimate rivalry since the late 1980s, with Simon Belmont serving as Link's Ultimate Imitator for different reasons. As for Cloud Strife vs Dart Feld, both also have a lot in common for different reasons also in addition to a legitimate rivalry since the early 2000s as The Legend of Dragoon is meant to serve as a legitimate competitor to Final Fantasy VII.
These two match-ups are something more people need to suggest to Death Battle, they just need to happen one day.
