and karkat whimpers slightly because kankri's not rubbing his horns anymore, but is quickly placated because kankri is petting him and has a nice singing voice for someone who runs his mouth all the time. he continues purring as he's rocked gently to and fro, nuzzling into kankri's collarbone

and kankri starts to twist some of karkat's hair around his fingers while still petting him and starts to kind of rock in time to his singing, pressing his cheek onto karkat's forehead
