Description
For The Far Wild . Painted in Photoshop almost entirely, with a little bit of matte. I learned alot from this piece, trying to get the most realistic lighting and water reflection without reference. I'm happy with it.

In the far away land of warriors and socceries, those who seek glory in the Underworld must venture through the dreaded passage of the Great Swamp. Rumors has that, only those who gained the favor of the enchantress may cross the swamp on great lilies.

I think this is just stunningly beautiful - my favourite of all your work so far. The colours, lighting and just the general composition makes me feel as though I was actually there. Kudos to you and your awesome skill!
My favourite bit is that gorgeous little area at the back where the water is reflecting the light - you've nailed it!

Whoa. Incredibly haunting and atmospheric. The colour palette is gorgeous, you really feel the humidity and even sounds of the place. Amazing details, must've taken you such a long time! And the water reflections are so clear, all in all a great painting

some of the reflections look really good indeed.. but I dont know however if the combined painted and realistic style is suchs a succes.. but very nice work man
