Can Emily use abilities with out her staff and amulet?

I ask because

Gwen has the following big things:
Her magic does not require any artifacts to work
She can transform into her anodite alien form increasing her power output (it even implied she has galactic level power, but would have to sacrafice her humanity to achieve it)
She also a skilled martial artist.

Also her magic powers are pretty broad, with many spells than can be cast at will with little delay.

Also she sometimes does have various magical artifacts and books, which increase her powers, but like stated are not nessuary.
