Okay, so where I'm from, we have loud weddings. Like, chaotic loud to the point that is you don't wear ear protection, you'll walk out deaf.

After I learned about my autism, I would bring headphones to help, though I always felt that people were judging me for it. Now, I'm in full acceptance that I'm different than my family and have no problem doing my own little thing at the table while listening to my own music. (Though, I did transition from headphones to earbuds.)
