You walk home after a hard day of work, the deadline is coming, your boss scolded you for being late for work, your coworkers are mean to you. Needless to say, you have bean taking quite a beating and would want nothing more than lying down your comfy bed and sleep soundly, tomorrow is Sunday after all, so you don’t have to worry about being late for work. Suddenly, you came across an unusual sight: there is a horse uphead, standing right next to your house. You must have though that all that stress has caused you to hallucinate or that this is someone’s joke. You not sure what to do in this situation, you intended to call animal control but the battery is dead. As such, you decided to get close to the horse to investigate, when you and the horse are currently 1 meter away from each other. Suddenly the horse turns around and before you couldn’t believed in your eyes. The other half of the horse is monstrous, with pale skin, red blood eye and a wide mouth filled with sharp teeth. The “horse” quickly moved and pin you down, you were so scared that you couldn’t do anything in this situation. Then the horse creature quickly open its wide mouth and swallowed you whole. Just like that, it swiftly and silently disappeared into the night.

The asymmetrical predator is a quadrupedal carnivorous species that takes on the appearance of an animal on one side of its body. While appearance between specimens are varied, from resembling donkeys or cow, they all have one distinct features: the other half of their body are monstrous and sometimes even have appearance drastically different from the other half. The side of the other half depends on their genders. Males on the right, females on the left.

Despite this, the asymmetrical predator do not seems to have any difficulty in disguising themselves. They possessed a cognitohazard effect that makes any living creatures not from the same species to view them as regular animals, regardless of what side they are seen. Despite this, they went an extra mile and would fine locations that can help hide the other side.

The hunting process of a A.P would go something like this: first, they would find a location that hides their monstrous side, usually somewhere dark or have obstacles and needs to be populated. Next, they would stay calm and still until a curious creature arrive and check on them. When the prey comes close enough, they deactivate their disguise and attack the prey swallowing them whole. After this, they left that area and search for a new hunting ground. In the event that the creature gets approached by 3 or more individuals, they would simply leave and disappear into the night without any trace. No droppings of this creature have been found, suggesting that their stomach is some sort of spacial anomaly.

They have 2 reproduction methods. one is the traditional mating. The second and rarer method is that they would stand still for 30 minutes, then split themselves in half lengthwise. After that the other missing half quick grow and now you have 2 of them.

Skeletal remains found of this creature only have half of it lengthwise. What happened to the other half is unknown.
