For the 2003 Texas Renaissance festival I wanted to create something that echoed the on coming fall season. The costume is made of several layers of shredded organza over satin. The feature I like most about the dress is the hand beading detail sewn in the center. Plus! The fall leaves overlaying at the back of the dress. First off, this is beautiful! I absolutely love the direction you took with you autumn theme. You did a great job at utilizing a fall color pallet on the dress and matching your make up and hair to it as well. I also really like the fabric choices you made; organza is the fairy costume fabric in my opinion. The wings are also really well done as well, but what type of design were you going for with the white lines?
The only thing that I could think to critique in this photograph is very small. The first thing that stands out to me is the background. You have such a beautiful autumn fairy outfit, but you're standing amidst a background of bright yellow flowers and greenery! While it fits the "nature" aspect of most fairies, I feel like you should have a more autumn reminiscent background to match your outfit. The background doesn't take away from the overall picture much, but it is something I noticed.

IΒ΄ve been a big fan of Firefly Path for some time now... And the costume and wings I love the most are those! You ARE a fairy there! And the most delicated one! I admire you guys a lot! The wings... are soooo gorgeous...
You really do the wings with organza? Becouse they stay so cleanly straight, and beautiful...
I know itΒ΄s a heresy what IΒ΄m going to ask you but... could you tell me how did you guys sewed this wing? Becouse I got so inspired buy your job, that IΒ΄m trying to make myself a pair of those(since IΒ΄m kind of far from EUA to order from Daydream Shop)... Please, if you could give me a clue about how to do it, I would be the most thankful person on earth! \o__o;/
