Description
Follow Firefly Path costuming & make-up on Facebook -Β www.facebook.com/FireflyPathAs a gift, a father commissioned us to make an Elsa-inspired prom gown for his daughter~ He asked that we include her favorite color, purple, throughout the design. We included it in her cape, the gradient on her sleeves, and lace along the neckline. I love how the skirt sparkles through her cape!

That sucks. Everyone should go to prom at least once.

Although I'm not sure that the indigo gradient in the train works well with the lighter shade chosen for the dress itself, the concept is well worth revisiting with other colour combinations. If the dress itself had been a deep lapis-lazuli, this would have been truly stunning!
Of course, if the girl wearing it likes it, then I'm not going to spoil her fun, but if I was choosing this dress for a lady friend, or a daughter, I'd opt for deep lapis for the dress itself in combination with that train. The style, however, is fabulous!

I don't think the different blues match.
It appears a bit odd in colour

Stunning! I like the cape the best, but are those beads as well as sequins in the dress itself?

How much do your commissions usually go for? I'd like to commission a dress after my gastric bypass this year and I loose a ton of weight

As great as the cape-thing looks, I imagine it would be a lot of trouble walking and dancing with it. Is it detachable?
