This is a photo taken at A-kon 2006. My boyfriend (Matt/a.k.a Lord Masasmune) and I cosplayed as Sophitia and Raphael from Soul Calibur III. Im so happy how our costumes turned out, Im lucky to have such a hot & talented boyfriend that is into cosplay just as much as I am ^_~Photo by: RuthlessJS

The costume is so gorgeous but I have to ask... is the name on the sword misspelled in the original game design? Because there is no "ph" in Greek, only "Ξ¦" like "ΣοΟΞ―ΟΞΉΞ±". Right now it reads, "Sop-ee-tia". Thought you might like to know if you're really into authetic details like that.

You both nailed it -as usual.
You know, with the time, dedication and basic skills, anyone can make a good costume. What is begining impress me more about your work is not merely the high quality, but the great variety of costumes you've made -and how RAPIDLY you seem to make them! For a poor old weaponsmith who might stretch a project out over the better part of a year (and STILL can't find the time to stitch together a doublet or tabard) this is downright humbling.
