Koi Fish Princess🎏
I designed this gown for Rachel, being a big fan of her and Jun’s YouTube channel: (www.youtube.com/user/MyHusband… ) - Koi fish seemed to be a repeating theme in their travels throughout Japan, I thought how cute would it be if I turned her into a koi fish princess!
Long Fins of a Koi fish glide effortlessly through the water. Gilded dragonflies skim the surface of the pond creating glimmering ripples on the surface. For her skirt, we created several layers of pin-tucked chiffon to look like overlapping fins of the koi fish. Often accompanying koi ponds are dragonflies skimming the water. I wanted to include those elements of a peaceful pond into her gown. Drapes of golden chains swag across her arms and connect to a jeweled dragonfly on her back. I used warm peach colors to compliment her natural bright red hair.
Fellow fantasy designer Creature of Habit Created a matching fin & Filigree headdress to compliment her gown!
