I took a photo of this hot air balloon landing after the morning balloon launch at the Northwest Art and Air Festival in Albany, Oregon several summers ago. My sister-in-law drove us around so we could follow the balloons and watch them land. Not all of them were as lucky as these guys who found a nice open field.

After taking the acrylics painting class a week ago, I tried doing this piece on my own at home. I really like how the balloon turned out but I feel my technique on the grass, trees, and sky to be lacking. Any tips or suggestions would be truly appreciated!
