Another mini commission! I felt this one needed two pictures

Thanks! I think I overdo it with the hair poofyness on these little ones sometimes...it's just so tempting to chibify them to the extreme
It is the 1mm minky! Although I like the fuzzyness of 3mm minky for the little ones, 1mm is certainly easier to work with - the fluff gets everywhere and 3mm is kind of hard to sew at this size

Yeah it seems like 3mm would be a challenge at this size, especially on the really tiny pieces like the bottom of the hooves.

Yeah, the bottoms of the hooves are super annoying. So are the wings

yeah, I'm honestly not even sure I could do those tiny hooves with the way my machine is.Β I'd probably have to sew them by hand.Β Or at least baste them on by hand before machine sewing.

Yeah, I have to hand-baste them sometimes when they're being difficult. I should probably get my machine serviced sometime...it makes "KACHUNK" sounds and eats my project sometimes...

My sewing machine randomly got *way* quieter one day and is working better and smoother than ever even though I didn't do anything to it.Β Honestly it'a kind of weirding me out.Β With my old machine I can basically do everything they'd do to service it by myself, just oiling and cleaning it out really.
But yeah KUCHUNK noises are usually a bad thing!

That's really nice - I wish my machine would do that! I really should get it serviced, but I don't have a car so I'd have to take it on the bus to the one place in town that does it, and that's not a fun prospect
