So here's another texture I created from scratch, feel free to use.Download for full size.

Hey I'm going to be using a small section of this as a backdrop for a Slytherin Locket I'm making if that's okay for you, I'll give you a link when I've done as I'm still in the process of waiting for supplies to make it at the moment but thought I'd best tell you before I forget, so thank you for this wondering texture, its perfect!

Well done and I'm especially impressed that you created it from scratch. So there was no photographic element whatsoever? I'm thinking then it must have been a few brushes, tinting and a levels adjustment or two. I'd like to know the steps you took.

You are correct, they are a blend of brushes and multiple layers, no photos just a blank canvas. I also used the burn and dodge to add depth but its been a few years since I did this and I can't remember every step. Thanks though
