The Blackheart family of Grandora stands as the true blooded descendants of Orlox, hailed as the sol sovereigns over the creatures of the night under his blessing. Vampires, Werewolves, Undead, phantoms, all whom walk beyond the coils of mortality bend their knee to the royal family of the Blackheart Dominion! Or at least...They did. After a recent turn of events over the last thousand years regarding its current ruler, Remus Blackheart, casting away the teachings of Orlox in favor of the Chaos God, Azazel. This caused a divide in between the followers of Orlox and the loyal retainers of the Blackheart Dominion. While many chose to stay due to having nowhere else to go, others chose to spread out to the corners of terrene. ether living in isolation from mortals, or being mercilessly hunted by templars of the Elysian Holy Order.

However...There is one who fights day and night to reunify the children of Orlox...A lady vampire who gives hope to the creatures of the night and restores their faith in the god of blood who granted them their blessing...One who seeks to usurp Remus Blackheart and end the conflict between Mortal and Undead once and for all...One who is Remus's own flesh and blood. His Daughter. Princess Meridia Blackheart.

Growing up, Meridia looked up to her father! In her eyes, he was the one true ruler to unified the creatures of the night with a righteous hand and an iron fist! All mortals who opposed the teachings of Orlox would be cattle for the hunt, while those who would seek his blessing would be bestowed his dark gift and welcomed to their family with open arms. For thousands of years, Remus lead the Blackheart Dominion against the Holy Order that would see them cleansed from the earth, giving a place in this world for all undead by force! However, her love for him soon begin to dwindle after he was given audience by the god of chaos himself. Willingly striking a deal with this madgod, Remus turned away the teachings of the blood god, and instead succumbed his soldiers and retainers to the teachings of chaos!

As years passed, Meridia pleaded to her father, told him not to trust Azazel, warned him of the consequences it would bring to their people. But no matter what the dear princess said, her father would not be swayed. He had forced the Blackheart Dominion into the manipulative strings of Azazel, and for years to come, it would prove to further doom the creatures of the night to mindless loyalty...Or "Holy" slaughter by the hands of their high elf pursuers...

It was clear to Princess Blackheart that her father was lost, and that he truly had turned his back on the god of blood and his followers. With little choice, she shunned her father, plotting, training, praying, awaiting a time when an opportunity to rise up and claim his throne would present itself. If he would not return to the ruler he once was, than she would have him dethroned and claim herself as the Dominion's ruler! The chaos of Azazel would be purged from the Blackheart Dominion, and by Princess Meridia Blackheart's command, the creatures of the night would at last have their place in this world, free of their hatred from mortal, free of the sacred flames of Elysia, and the unification of Mortal and Undead at last. And thanks to the party lead by a supposed Humara Blue Swordsman...She may just finally have the chance she has been waiting for.
