this is for a contest I entered a while back around about march time

(first time I worked with a comic like way before)

the main theme of this is family and that how Nabu would do anything for them and I believe that most of them will either be killed at some point in the story or something else to them and will cause Nabu to do something terrible at some point cause a massive war to break out or something like that

i also thought of how Nabu is meant to become the nameless god but I really don't think will happing due to the opening showing two Jchita dragon showing a red one and black and yellow one which makes me believe that meian and Nabu are to become Jchita dragon at some point due to the colour plates been similar and hight wise to

from the top panel to the bottom panel
first panel - Nabu and someone's feathers (guest whos they are)
second panel to the left -meian and some shadow creature
second panel to the right - Qataq
third panel - Zjhiben, Sarken, Sarken, Jchita dragon and some shadow thing
and forth and the last panel - meian and the yellow yes
(and yes i was going to draw athyir but he's not going to work so I left it)
