its a cool concept, but that looks nothing like an Ikran, and shego doesn't have her hair attatched to it, small things i know but its still irritating, but other then that good job!

I painted an attach with the hairs but it didnΒ΄t look very well and I removed it.
The artist can always feel free to make it the way he likes.

That is fantastic! Now I just wish you could do her in 3D; I saved the spectacles from when I went to the movie....

By the way, I still think a Sheego and Kaa 2 would be a good idea.

Hier ist der Kommentar fur deine Bild, Herr Oblong, mein Freund :
In a very interesting and original crossover, FitzOblong brings us this refined and exquisite piece of art.
Starting with the concept of putting Shego as a Na'vi, from Cameron's brilliant movie Avatar, to the background and the general character design, this picture speaks of genius, effort, soul and good sense of composition.
Background: A very good visual impact has been attained, for the otherworldy atmosphere of Pandora. Everything works here: the flying mountains, the blue gas giant and its great rolling spot, the absolute dominance that Nature brings... the pristine air, untouched by the evil, whitey-pinky minions of the mining corporation. A background very true to the original palette of colurs from the movie, adapted nicely to a semi-realistic, KP style.
Character design: The adaptation of Shego, a major villainess in the KP Universe, to the context of Avatar is wonderfully performed. The bioluminiscent spots on her delicate Na'vi skin, to the beautiful hue of blue in her body (I bet Drakken would give her the wildest night of passion). The face painting and the ornaments, and the clothes are vey appropiate for the character, good mix of Na'vi and what Shego would have chosen as her style for Nature.
In the opinion of this art-critic the eyes are well adapted, a good blend between the Na'vi yellowness and roundness, and Shego's own genetics. Evolution has made a great work here.
The Ikran/banshee: A nice 3D effect compliments this amazing creature, and a feeling of Shego's past cute personality is detected in its eyes. I would have recommended that the "Connection" was more explicitly shown here, since it was a very important plot in the movie: How all beings in the planet/moon are connected, in harmony and are one with each other. There's no way Shego could control a Ikran without the connection, I guess the tendrils of her hair and the connection are not shown, since her leg is blocking the view.
Pose: The pose is splendind! You can really feel that Shego is about to jump. The position of both legs and the muscularity give a nice impression, tho show us how she is containing all that potential energy to be released in a single jump. Hopefully Shego will destroy those pesky helicopters and ships of the Englisch-speaking-palefaced/pinkos, or to clog the engines of the mothership with rocks, just like Vietnamese did to shot-down 5000 gringo planes in Vietnam.
General compositon and balance:
Final comment: Despite what turbotrolls, hyperwankers and wannabes say about it, Avatar was the best movie of all the decade, the most enjoyable, the most well executed and the most profitable one in a vey long time (if not the most of all time) The sucess of this movie, can be tracked to the messages it transmits:The power of Love.
The Connection shared by living beings in the planet.
The meaning of life.
The struggle for survival.
The urge to return to spirituality and religion.
The vacuity of an exacerbated modern lifestyle.
The dangers of the de-humanization of the human heart (as demonstrated with the wacky CEO of the mining CO and the despicable army colonel) whom considered the Na'vi, (intelligent, feeling, sentient beings) as mere obstacles to their greed and dreams of endless profit and violence.
It reminded us about the wickedness of Western civilization in general and American (lack of) culture in particular.
It also reminded us about believing and keeping your mind wide open, and not to rule out the beliefs of others (as when the CEO and the evil colonel laughed about the idea of a whole planet being sentient... wonder if they had ridiculed the idea of a Jewish Zombie who was his own father, and that can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree... )
Maybe the premise of the movie has been done before: As in Dance with Wolves, or Pocahontas, but Come on!
You can take a pic or write about the most orginal car, or plane, but if you don't communicate the message in an artistic, enjoyable and understandable way, you will not get enything. But, if you take a pic or write about even the most common thing (a chair, a flower, a bird) with good taste and skill you can get millions of people to like it, over and over again. Just look at the Daily Deviations.... countless of times we have come across a bird, a flower, (unoriginal themes) but it's the master skill of the artist what turns the ordinary into extraordinary.
Now, if you still think Avatar is an unoriginal idea, I must say that even Kim Possible is an unoriginal idea! KP reunites all the old cliches of the old spy/action movies: the superweapons, the goons, the mad scientists... but thanks to a good storytelling we have a Smash-hit cartoon!.
By the way, Avatar had a healthy dose of kick-arse special effects. The takes, the ships, the creatures, the effects... were eye-popping, surprising and amazing. Specially when the Na'vi and the spirit of the Pandora kicked so hard the Americans arses out, just like the Vietnamese did!

Thank you very much for this very kind comment.
I tried out a connetion between Shego and the Banshee but it was far away from looking good.
It looked like a foreign body. So itΒ΄s not shown here.
You were so kind not to point on my problem zone in this picture.
Special thanks to planet Jupiter for his appearence in his blue disguise.

Shego doesn't need no wimpy bio-USB cable. When she wants something to move, that something *knows it!*
"Avatar + Shego" seems a disaster in the making, but Shego sports blue surprisingly well. You can see that it's her... As for the thumb-toe, I think the native Pandorians have the them, at least according to Cameron's Pandorapedia [link] , but creations of the Avatar program do not.
The foreshortening of Shego's right wrist looks a bit odd, but other than that, good job!

You are welcome!
I supposed that the fluffy hair of Shego was not helping to make the connection! It looks better this way.
Hahaha for Jupiter!, Well, it is a very good adaptation of colours in PhotoShop!
