🐶🐺This piece is meant to represent a loss of one's innocence and the desperation to get it back. The subject of this piece, a wolf, sits with the head of a dead lamb (or sheep) sewn over their own. In the process of trying to retrieve their innocence, the actions they took have further destroyed it. And in response, their mental health has deteriorated further. I wanted to mix typically cute and innocent elements with the macabre and horror. While working on this, I took inspiration from some of the music from Jazmin Bean. In particular, I focused on the songs "Little Lamb" and "R U Looking 4 Me Now". I wanted it to be a dark and muddy piece so I used the colour black for the shading. I really like how it looks! 🐺🐶
