Description An excuse I hear so that parents don't have to punish their child, guess what? They're not "just kids", they still need to fucking learn. And yes, I see kids do shit and go unpunished, examples are fucking up walls, taking an N64 cartridge out while I was playing a game and a kid at a FUCKING LIBRARY fuck up a keyboard and go unpunished, a fuckin' library.

And "they're just kids" you say? No, they still need to learn discipline, no matter the age. If I have a child, I will make sure to discipline him/her, and before thinking "corporal punishment", no, I will teach the child that it is wrong, and that the child would fail in life if the child keeps fucking up so yeah, fuck you for being lazy parents and fuck you for defending the children's actions.

See, because my parents spanked me as a child I learned a rare little thing called "respect for others" and now have a pretty open mind towards the world. But whenΒ I see an entire family on their phones or tablets--this goes for little kids too--I remember the old days when having a flip-phone was unheard of for most children. We had to sit there and TALK to one another in public, play games that DIDN'T require electronics, and actually LEARN things from the white board and teachers instead of computers.

I may not be a 90s kid, but I grew up in the early 2000s just before Apple began to release all of these new smartphones. I know I sound old and probably a bit close-minded, but I miss the days before everything was more of a social experience than having your phone attached to your hands at all times. Because with everything the way it is now, parents are learning to raise their children by giving them tablets/ipads/whatever to appease them during a tantrum, not punish them.

At least, what this whole thing cracks down to is that kids are being appeased to stop embarrassing the parent in public instead of being punished for doing so. This, as it should sound and look like, is bad parenting.

I was born in 2001 and I have a phone, but I don't carry it all the time...I'm a little quiet when it comes to socializing, but I do the best I can, and I really did learn about my experiences from my strange but awesome childhood. I do miss those days when we didn't had phones and we would talk for hours face to face, I also miss the days when we just had computers and TV's..That's it. I know what the future may turn into, but I know I might be the only Retro Kid around MA who actually knows how the old school appliances work. (I actually still know stuff from the 50's or 60's because of my Dad who taught me his childhood and my Mom's too)

I agree but when but I was at a park once a 4 year old was playing with a 5 year old, the 4 year old hit the 5 year old and the other kid started crying, then his mum literally told her other son who was like 13 to go and get security ( this was at a holiday park so they had security) because the kid hit the other kid, and when the 4 year's old older sister who was 15 said that they were playing and he didn't mean to hurt him, the mum calls her a fucking bitch and say she will be arrested.Β
They still a only toddlers, and they do need to be told what to do, but they don't need security on them.

Discipline.
Crime.

HUGE DIFFERENCE.
Just because they are a kid means they don't know better, but discipline is different from getting security. The mother is the "fucking bitch" for not taking action and getting the security for a idiotic reason.

And she could have done is talk to them both and make sure the other apologize for hitting them, even if by accident, not security.Β

That's just it, adults just hate kids. Parents, teachers, strangers and even teenagers, The only reason they have them is so they will become more like them because they only want more adults. If such, maybe there should not be anymore kids.

Not all, I don't hate kids, I just hate what the majority of them have become.
Not many have much respect at all, but that's because adults are turning all forms of discipline into child abuse.
If you want a good kid, then adults need to up their game.
We need kids in this world, because a kid is just a growing human being. What's a crime about that?

There wasn't even a reason for why he did it, the baby was just minding his own business and that brat apparently thought it'd be hilarious to do that.

I once got a visit from my mom's best friend, her son (who was the same age as me) and his 5 year old sister

we were talking about life, things and stuff, and he was truly a nice guy

but then it happened

his sister started crying because my cat got close to her, and inmediately ran to me and yelled that i had a bad kitty

and we were like "WTF"

Then her mom walked in and asked me if i could borrow her a notebook with drawings for the brat to stop crying, and since that annoying noise was dribing me mad, i accepted. Such a mistake

She grabbed the exact notebook where i had all my best drawings (yes, i had better drawings than the ones in my gallery) and used her crappy crayons all over them

Wanna know what her mother said? Β  "Oh, she's just a little kid, she doesnt know it is wrong."

i would have completely freaked out if only her brother hadnt been there to prevent me from hitting the little bastard against the wall

UGH

Okay when I was like 12 or something my mum had a lodger, he never paid for anything and brought his annoying as fuck 6 year old round every other weekend. I went downstairs Β at like 8 am and started drawing on the computer then his fucking son came down while his dad sat there snoring waiting for me to entertain his shit son . The kid started yelling at me to stop drawing and unplugged my computer so yeah I lost my drawings. I had to sit there with his kid for 6 bloody hours before his dad came down and said he is just a kid so yeah I know what it feels like.

the same shit kid also yelled at my dogs and kicked one . Another time the dad and his son yelled at one of my dogs who was on 8 months old until she pissed herself and then they kicked until she ran into her cage.
they also pulled my cats tail and chased them away.
and I had 2 dogs at the time , one had pups and we kept one ( the same one that pissed herself because the kid yelled at her) and the the lodger and his son started shouting at my mum for keeping her, like I'm sorry but you don't pay your bills and you bring you shit son and every time he does something you use the same excuse .
"he's just a kid" like he is six he shoul know that you shouldn't bother someone twice you ages and much more than twice your size and then go on to abuse their pets and destroy their drawings!

It's a long story; but it's a good example:

When I was 12, the B/O/C of every middle school in my city went to some theater to watch a Broadway play (I think it was Matilda or something.)

Apparently, my friend is really popular at one of our rival middle schools, and there was this one boy at our school who was claiming that she was his boyfriend. My friend was there because one of the kids told her that. The kids were all saying, "Prove it."

And suddenly he's french kissing my friend, she stopped him by biting his tongue. She later went to the bathroom and rinsed her mouth out. But when she went to the teacher, all she said was, "He's just a kid. Get over it."Β Β
