Ahhh! Guys! Happy New Year! I know I'm a little late, but I have a year of the rabbit picture for you guys. I didn't want to make it too literal, so here we are! I spent a whooole lot of time on this, and I PUT IN A BACKGROUND! *pats self on back* It was inspired by chinatown. :3Enjoyyy~

I only have white gen pens at the moment (I'm somewhat obsessed with things that show up on things darker than them, so silver Sharpies and metallic coloured pencils are also objects of my adoration), but I would love to get more. They're spiffy!

Oh, yeah! This whole image was done in white gel pen, and I just colored copics over it. Sooo useful. Then I only have to carry one color around.

you are not late at all. Since the traditional Chinese calendar is lunar it doesn't follow the calendar that westerners use. Spring Festival or Chinese New Years is on a different day each year. This year it will be on February 3rd. It is still the year of the Tiger until then... awesome art all the same!

The colors on the girls' dresses are just amazing. And that background just blew me away! I think it's the perfect representation of the Chinese New Year of the Rabbit!
