We got in a really bad car crash on literally Christmas Day

Not something that's happened to me but I heard about a family that got snowed inside and the power went out. The only heat source they had was electric so they had no heat at all and it took a week before they were able to be shoveled out. I would have to say I'd be terrified if I were in that situation especially if there was an emergency since you couldn't get out.

WEll not really horror but scary... I was i think 7 or 8 and it was Christmas eve and my entire family was at my house in the living room playing games. MY uncle heard somethign out side and it turned out there was a major attempted murder in the neighbors house and the assaulter ran through our yard to get away. He saw us in the window and threatened to off us XI Thankfully the cops were really fast arriving and no one else was hurt >.< the neighbor survived toot thankfully XI

the Christmas Sock, a giant 7 foot stocking filled with goodies to share with the whole family. Everyone takes a turn until all gifts are taken.

Eating and laughing at the general inappropriate-for-the-holidays hilarity that is my siblings and I crammed in one room together <3

we have a pickle ornament that we hide in the tree until someone finds it, then we hide again, and etc til christmas

We used to dress up the mini ponies and take all the kids sledding in the mountains in a remote spot.spend the day there with a camp fire and food before heading home for turkey dinner.
