Some character concepts I had I thought I'd draw out. As usual, the scanner faded the colors.

From left to right the girls are Christelle (Elle for short), Mina, and Joan.

Elle has a gift with animals, even the generally hostile ones like dragons. That blue dragon has especially taken to her. His name is Cerul.

Mina is the natural born leader, which is useful because she is a princess. She knows her people and they respect her.

Joan looks sweet, but she is just as likely to be holding a dagger as she is a flower. She is a warrior, and Mina's personal guard. The fluffy goblin next to her is Kurdis. He's the "assistant guard," which really means he tags along and occasionally spies on people for them or steals things.
