Personal Information
Bio: Kaiser was born in a relatively big Jaggi pack. He lived most of his life like that, later growing to become a Great Jaggi himself. It is said that at a certain age, Great Jaggis leave the pack to then return and challenge the current leader of it. And so Kaiser left, looking forward to the day he would become the rightful king of his own group of monsters. One day however, while wandering near Selva Canyon, he was suddenly captured by a group of poachers. These poachers were not affiliated with the Hunter's Guild, and were selling monster and monster parts illegally. Kaiser tried his best to free himself from a net trap they used to restrain him, but couldn't. This is also where he lost his right frill. Luckily for him, that would have been the only injury from the encounter, as a Felyne was just traveling near the area and, recognizing the poachers as criminals, managed to chase them away.
The Felyne was called Mikado, and he wasn't a stranger to dealing with monsters, but his main experience was hunting them more so than helping them, and he was now faced with an angry and terrified Great Jaggi, struggling to escape from the trap. Very carefully, Mikado approached the monster, and started slowly to disarm the trap. It was stressful for both of them, since Kaiser was still trapped, and Mikado was finding himself way too close to a monster that could snap at him at any time. In the end, the Felyne managed to free Kaiser, who then calmed down after realizing he was simply trying to help. The Great Jaggi then looked at Mikado for a couple of seconds without attacking, before running away once again.
Kaiser couldn't however shake that encounter out of his head, but tried his best to ignore it. He kept traveling until one day he came across Setano Village. It was there where he noticed how hunters lived peacefully with monsters, and took care of them. He didn't even know such a life was possible after his encounter with the poachers. It was also there where he managed to find Mikado again. In the end, he managed to overcome his fear of humans, and ran towards Mikado. The Felyne was a bit confused at first, but in the end they decided to work together, as rider and monster, and they have been inseparable since.
