i feel like i've been designing a lot more feral animals than i previously have lately, and let me just say something - you can expect more.

this character i've had in development for a while and honestly wasn't sure if i was gonna be able to find a spot for him in the story after all - but i did. his name is bobo; he's a black-horned capuchin monkey, and is considered typhoon's younger brother in a sense.

bobo was an attempt at recreating typhoon's intelligence. it... sorta worked. bobo isn't necessarily outright unintelligent, given he's very capable at many tasks; he's more naive and childlike than anything.

in comparison to some of the other experiments, bobo is also less capable of speech. he's typically more prone to communicating through monkey sounds and the like, but in the event he does speak, it's typically in a few words or phrases. if he does speak in full sentences, he usually doesn't use proper grammar/syntax (many real life primates who have learned sign language - such as koko the gorilla - also don't use grammar/syntax, so this makes sense). he's also a bit of an illeist (that is, he tends to speak about himself in the third person). bobo tends to repeat things he's heard, typically without knowing what they mean.
