the void crawlers are a sub species of human, spawned from the unfortunate individuals who lose themselves to the v-mat suit, their minds corrupted to the point that it starts changing their biology in very grotesque ways. making their body outstretched and slim. once an individual has crossed the point of no return while wearing the v-mat suit, they will become unable to take the suit off, it has bonded to their skin and won't let go. after that they will become erratic and easily angered, they will lose the ability of coherent speech, and if they manage to escape the facility then they are beyond subduing. after three days of being in an enraged state they will eventually calm down and become passive, but within the next 24 hours their suit will fall off like snakeskin and reveal a void crawler. and if you find yourself in a situation, where you are staring face to face with a void crawler, then your already done for.
