Description A man that was resurrected as a human nephalem from God through Junior after saving him from an assassination attempt at the cost of his life. He then chose to follow Junior as his bodyguard and comrade against the forces of darkness while Catherine taught him to master his newfound power. After years of tutelage, Taylor went on his own to travel creation throughout time and space of his own power and see its wonders in all its forms, helping anyone or anything that he comes across. As a human angel/demon hybrid he has all the abilities of both including shape shifting, but unlike them he possesses a true form, which is his original human one.
He's highly intelligent (almost to the point of being wise beyond his years) and creative, as well as open-minded, humorous, carefree (often to the point of being lazy) and sometimes witty. However, he has a bad habit of being overly talkative (albeit with a bit of a potty mouth, though he tries to be polite when it's necessary). He sometimes talks too fast without realizing it and rushes things, possesses a short attention span and at times even a short temper. He doesn't always think things through, is a bit narrow-minded and sometimes has a hard time listening to others (which often gets him in trouble), but has an even harder time sitting still. He gets emotional sometimes and reacts strongly to extreme injuries, and sees death as not an end, but a new beginning, believing that one's deeds, especially in their final moments, determines where they go after they die. When he gets serious, his personality changes; becoming calm, focused and efficient, willing to hurt or kill anyone or anything he has to, but takes no pleasure in it, often seen doing a silent prayer afterwards. Even before becoming an immortal, Taylor lived his life in the moment and took it one day at a time, entrusting his life to others while making an effort to help them in return. He also believed in a higher power wholeheartedly and that there could only be one, lest everything falls apart, but as an immortal, those beliefs became even stronger. Despite serving this higher power through his actions as best he can, there are times when he slips up, but it doesn't take long for him to either try and rectify it or except the consequences of his actions. He also tries not to involve himself in politics unless he has to, having no interest in it and viewing it as too controversial to risk getting involved in without good reason.
Deuteragonist in Son of the Exiled.
