This was taken yesterday, December 21, 2010 Around or after midnight. (:
YES it is an eclipse- a lunar eclipse-please note that this eclipse is a rare kind. This eclipse was on the day of Winter Solstice- which have never happened in like 3000 years? Maybe less, but yes.
The moon is so pretty *_* You can see the red and blue rim around it, and the moon was brighter than usual, you'll notice.
It also had a blurred rainbow rim around it (:
My camera wouldn't let me take pics of when the moon was red, I have no idea why but it didn't D:
