Oh my god. The lyrics to the last part of "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" by Meatloaf jumped immediately into my head when I read, "Will you love me forever?" It is so fitting. Moving on. I really like this. It's really beautiful. I like to think that maybe Merope eventually decided to stand up for herself. Great job.

I'm sorry but in the books when I read Merope's story I did feel bad for her. And hated that she was all alone and died in a bad situation, but I never really forgave her for raping Tom Riddle Sr. I totally understand why he ran away/back to his parents and left her. She basically did what this pic shows. She controlled him and put him in a situation he never consented.
Although for an AU and/or kink, I can accept it.
