Looking at the seemingly bored stallion that stood, tacked up in the brightest orange tack she could find, Reya pulled on her new show jacket, one of which she had bought just for this event. As she grabbed Hansols bridle, she quickly threw it on him before leading him out of his stall, giving everything a once over, before unrolling her stirrups and leading the displeased pony over to a mounting block.
"I know, I'm not excited either," Reya said, as she looked out at the pouring rain that had been going on and off all morning. She gently urged Hansol forward, deciding her best bet would be to warm up quickly and get her round done and over with. She trusted Hansol would be good, as he excelled in show jumping, and required little prep before he was hot and ready for business.
Her name being called, Reya made her way over to the in-gate, stopping as Addison passed by her, stopping to give her a quick hug along with a "good luck!". They'd been doing that more and more often, and Reya didn't exactly know why, but as she trotted her way into the ring, her face was flush, and it wasn't from the cold.
