OVERALL: This is a fun, well done, color-themed image. The size and placement of the flowers as well as the fly-away hair gives the image a sense of space. And the hair gives movement. I like the texture and smoothness of the felted dress (see the NOTES section, below).
VISION: 4.0. Combining excellent technique with a concept (color) has resulted in a beautiful image.
ORIGINALITY: 3.0. Great idea to bring together the dress and flower properties.
TECHNIQUE: 4.0. There is a broad range of brightness in an otherwise low key image. The focus and DOF are right for this image.
IMPACT: 4.5. As a thumbnail or full size image this attracts the eye and is gentle at the same time.
NOTES: One has to look for some time to get a message from this. For me it is the schism between the human and the natural (not that we humans aren't natural). The person and the background are not violet (colored), as the man-made is not of nature. The trying-to-be-right-but-not-matching color of the model's lips and the pressing of the neckline of the violet (colored/nature) dress against the model's neck indicate the not-fitting-ness of humanity's mind into the natural world. The felt material of the dress helps this in that it is a random fiber (and so part of the natural, or colored, world) whereas a woven fabric would be more man-made. We can try but can't get it right. Just as we can understand the concept of 'violet' (or 'nature') we are not *of* nature. For this statement the ash blonde color of the model's hair is perfect. Reading further, the model's dark hair roots shows, once again, that when we try we still don't get it right. (Or the hair has been bleached but not yet colored and the lipstick's color was the color the MUA (model) happened have in their selection.)
