So BEAUTIFULL!! He looks like he is going to transform in to stone - only a bit of his face is normal.
But he is ok with it, it's life. He invites his friends to have the last cup of tea with him... Sorry, my imagination got wild ^^D
The skin is great: some part are more sand and others, darker parts, look like it's the ground under the sand.

Very impressive. I really like your usage of color to highlight the model's facial features and your usage of texture. I think the gritty texture on the skin really makes the model look like a living statue. I also like how you pulled in the wooden, earthy textures in the dried vines, which pulls the whole piece together (model with background). Well done!
