[EDITED: Damn, I uploaded the wrong version. I will get the correct/working one uploaded soon. Until then you can see the correct/working version here [link] So plz go there instead, and I'm sorry for the stupid mistake.Thought I'd put something into the new Flash section. The graphics of the fly aren't that great, but I wanted to see if I could get the scripting to work right first. Oh, and stereo sound makes this way better.

This is awesome! As for the AI though, I would recommend adding a thing where he sits still every once in a while and rubs his legs together, front legs and back. Flies do that, you know, and they wash their eyes in the same way. But just rubbing forelegs would be a nice (and simple) addition.
This is the best flash animation I've ever seen on this site.

Hehe... got some good questions here. I'll try to answer them.
- stereo sound helps because when it's flying on the left part of the Flash the sound is from the left speaker. It sounds cool to hear the sound go from side to side
- In a later version I actually did program it to fly when the mouse got close to him. Don't know why I didn't stay with it... it was a good effect...
- The fly can turn on a dime at any moment and it doesn't have to be from a boundary. He can fly again after he lands too. It's all based on random numbers, so sometimes he might not fly or turn a lot, but others he will. Watch it for a couple minutes and you'll see

maybe you can add: when you move the mousecursor near the fly or click on the fly the fly flies away??? Is that possible, would be more fun

Cool... this is just what a fly does when it is trapped in a window. If you could get the flying part to do tighter quicker turns, and not just when it hits the boundries, then it would be even better. Also if you could get it to fly again after it walks for a while.
The sound is really cool... Nice panning effect.
