Well in cannon pinkie has a personality I couldn't stand for very long.
Honestly Pinkamena is what pulled me into the fandom in the end. If I were to put Pinkie pie in my AU, not much of her would change. For a while I thought about bring Pinkie into my comics as adult to run into Flick again. I sort of scrapped the idea, because it didn't really go anywhere.
Pinkie/Pinkamena would be originally named Pinkamena but prefers others to call her Pinkie, and her personality as Pinkie is front she puts on for others. She hides her weird, and narcissistic nature because it isn't socially acceptable. When Flick and Pinkie meet again she opens up to him, and finds comfort in being her true self around him.
