Description
-Hippogriff/pony hybrids, otherwise known as aethon, are proportioned similar to juvenile hippogriffs rather than mature ones. With a somewhat more rounded beak and feathered hooves, aethons are not necessarily born with wings -- instead, they can exhibit the traits of earth ponies, pegasi, or unicorns respectively, complete with their magical abilities. These hybrids grow manes and tails with a soft, feathery texture and can earn cutie marks.

-Pony/griffon hybrids, known as tianma, are an odd case. Proportioned more like griffons, but growing manes like ponies and sporting front hooves and an equine snout, they also exhibit traits similar to earth ponies, pegasi, or unicorns, although their magic is often stunted compared to the typical pony. The feathers on their heads mimic ears, but do not function as them; instead they cover ear holes similar to a griffon's.

-Griffon/changeling hybrids are known as helhest, and possess both the strength of a griffon and the illusion magic of a changeling. Unlike changelings, helhest illusion magic is fairly limited, and they can not stay in their illusory forms for long. Being half changeling and half griffon, helhest naturally do not grow manes or earn cutie marks.

these are some things i've been working on for a while! so i've noticed a lot of people like to make adoptables/customs based off of fairly random pairings, but thought it was pretty sad that those pairings were usually limited to pony ones. so this is set 1 of a planned 4-set series showcasing some hybrid ideas!

feel free to use the names/lore i came up with for these! and please credit me if you use them?
