description : this is a close up on the eye of a type of cactus. the water collected around the eyes of the plants making it seem as though they were crying to be trapped inside of the conservatory instead of being out in true nature. it's like when life places you in different situations. life has placed me in college, which i cry for being there, because i yearn for what my self is accustom to, public schooling. as the cactus has, we all have to adapt to changes in life, tears or no tears.

From the few photos I was able to preview before you submitted to deviantART, this was one that had first really caught my eye. As I have told you or said, I really love macro photography. Is it strange? That isn't the point. The point of this comment was to express the appreciation of the colors and mood that you had captured through this simple but beautifal image. I'm able to see tones of red, and in parts I feel like there's almost a deep purple hidden within. The texture of the eye had me thinking of how it feels when take a soft bristled brush...such as a toothbrush and dragged it across your skin. It also makes me think of things that come in contact with your skin and give you goosebumps just from that touch.
Between the coloration, the texture, and the overall theme that you presented in your description, I don't think there's anything that could have been done to this photo to please my mind more so than it already has.

Just as a random note, I wouldn't have been able to tell what that was if it wasn't for your description...sometimes that's the whole fun of those close up shots. I do really love this shot...but I'm not quite sure which one out of the set is my favorite.
