The sea monster is an angler fish + electric eel hybrid. It dwells around the wreck of a pirate ship where it guards its bounty of treasure, knowing that some may search for it. For years, the creature lingered, feeding upon the many small creatures that made the ship their home. Yet...it hungered for bigger prey. Then, one day, it spotted a submarine approaching. The people found and explored the ruin...and find a display of shimmering gold light. Unbeknownst to them, the light came from the monsters tail; The treasure itself was yet to far away to reflect the submarine's lights, and the shape of the creature itself could not be made out for the rest of the lights among its back up to its head were dim and indiscernible among the glow the other small creatures emitted in the deep.

The lure worked, and soon, someone left the submarine to inspect the light. Only when the person closed in on the treasure did the monster begin to glow a little brighter. Mere seconds later, it struck...
