Description
Beautiful golden light piercing through some "heavy" november sky a bit before sunset. Still some autumn colors in the trees and relatively warm air, quite disturbing as we had huge snow falls at the same period last year.Title because we came to this spot with a bit of late and a few seconds later the light disappeared. Just had the time to do the several exposures needed for this image.
Puy de DΓ΄me, France.

I love this...it's like a swaying ocean of colourful landscape. Wish I could see a bigger version for the details.

I wouldn't have thought of this sky as heavy. Here it is also familiar at this time of year. I think it may be a variation on what is known as "Lumiere de Dieux". You have represented it extremely well. Why does everyrthing now have to be "heavy" to be of any interest or quality. It may be unusual or seldom seen or appreciated but this landscape with its pre-sunset light lightens my spirit rather than makes it gloomy or heavy. I enjoyed looking at this photo.

Oh, I think I used a wrong word, by "heavy" I meant the sky was almost full of clouds but I didn't meant "dark/gloomy"
Indeed that's not gloomy, it's more a golden magic feel here ^^
Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the advice

Thank you!
How is the weather in Hungary actually? We had a particulary warm year here in France, the summer came early and ended lately, we had a long autumn and now we wait for snow

The weather is very wet, and there is a little fog and +3celsius
Very unlikely.
We wait snow too We want Sunrise, and deepblue sky and -5 celsius and 1 meter snow surface. And the fog should be gone.

Great Image yet again. I know this is HDR, but I was wondering, what camera settings and HDR settings are you using? I saw you use the Canon 7D and I guess with this picture the Canon 17-40L btw.
