All together
Thank you all for the many favs and watches. This was so much fun.
This stage of Epiphany may be over, but there's more to come in the future.
Now I take a short break and eat some delicious squirrel ice cream (squeezed out of 75 original baby squirrels).

The bear (Yakone) has a big, fuzzy bear-like head but then a hairless, skinny man-like body. Looks strange.
Also, looks like you could talk smack to most of them and get away with it because they'd trip up if they attempted to run after you.

The fur on his head and neck is regular; the body fur is trimmed and partially shaved.
Natural laws don't fully apply in their world. Most characters are able to hover or to dash and don't need to walk (well, the creatures at the bottom don't even have legs and feet suitable for walking, because they constantly hover). And the weapons of all characters (except for 2) can be used for mid to long distance battles. They don't need to run after you.

Lol, when I think of characters with bear traits or are full bear, I expect fat and furry, but he's pretty fit and hot(something I like)... Hehehe...

Yes, bears always remember me of Balu or Winnie the Pooh. Maybe that's the reason why I went in another direction with the design.

What a weird way to say that.
Side note though, the trousers looking like that was an artistic choice. So pointing out that I don't like the trousers is a criticism of the picture and hence, the art. So. Yeah.

But you acted, because the "piece of art" evoked a kind of feeling and an urge to act. This (physical) interaction is an integral piece of art and shows that the image works.

You want people to facepalm at your art? You want people to dislike the properties of your picture? You're trying to pretend you consider this a positive response?
Yeah. Sure. Keep telling yourself that. You totally don't look incredibly silly right now.

Florian-K In reply to Fenwolf2003 [2014-06-27 17:31:43 +0000 UTC]
Every response is intrinsically positive (doesn't matter whether its actual content is negative or not), because only no response to a piece of art is a bad response.
If you like what I do I'm glad — If you don't like it I'm glad too, because it shows that there's something powerful enough in the stuff I do that urges you to take some time and talk/think about it. If there was no power, no content, no idea and no flow you would never have said anything at all.
In fact, I especially like negative responses, because they're usually more honest and tackle problems directly rather than talk around some problems by using euphemisms.
But you seem to be very young an inexperienced. Maybe you're unable to understand this yet.

Look, I get it. Someone insulted your art, you tried to be sarcastic and failed miserably when that person easily slapped you down. I get it.
But just making up some hilariously fake shit to try and make it seem that "I'm not even mad though", is just sad.
So yeah, dude. You looked silly with the last attempt, you look outright stupid with this one.
Sometimes it is better to not respond at all when you can't come out of it looking good, that's my hint to you. That's also what I'll do now, because any more comments from me and I'll feel like I'm just picking on an autistic kid.
Peace.

Florian-K In reply to Fenwolf2003 [2014-06-27 19:02:56 +0000 UTC]
No, you still don't get it. There has never been anybody who insulted my art (if you don't think that's possible than you must have gotten a lot of insults yourself and I'm sorry about that) or I don't remember, but if I don't remember it surely wasn't an insult. And opinions like "This looks weird" or "I don't like it. It's stupid" are no insults.
And to be honest, I'm my own worst critic; it's not that easy to say something about my stuff that's worse than something I would say about it.
Again, you show me that you're not able to understand what critique on art or opinions about art are (or at least what's the difference between a concrete opinion and a reflected opinion you think somebody has), and I'm not concerned about how I look or sound. That's why I take the time and respond to you, even if this conversation lacks any real content.

As much I love style in which this was created, I'm not much of a fan of a trouses so low on their hips. Clothing design as such i perfectly matched in colors, but... well not my taste when comes to way they wear it
Those creatures o the bottom are very good

Florian-K In reply to Asderuki [2014-06-27 14:58:06 +0000 UTC]
Thank you. These kinds of trousers actually create more interesting silhouettes than regular or tight pants. The body easily looks unbalanced if the legs are too long or too skinny
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Asderuki In reply to Florian-K [2014-06-29 19:06:36 +0000 UTC]
Throught in that. Anyway I just wouldn't feel comfortable wearing trouses in such way. You know, the concept when you don't get it why someone do something you don't like
But to be clear, you've made awesome work not making those characters unbalanced.

It's more comfortable than it looks and you don't get hot or sweaty in wide clothes, because the air between them and your skin keeps you cool.

Squirrel ice cream sounds so prestigious! You should try and find yourself a $12 000 pair of shoe. I forgot the name, it's made from genuine goose eyelids only. It is the most exquisite type of leather. Takes so many to craft into shoes.

Florian-K In reply to MilleCuirs [2014-06-27 14:54:44 +0000 UTC]
Yes, especially the Eurasian flavor is pricey.
It seems like I have to go shopping tomorrow, but I will only buy those shoes if I get a tube of goose tears to clean them for free (in the end I'm not a spendthrift).

Yes, small critters should be used efficiently — they're too good for just letting them run around in the open and getting dirty.
Thanks, but he/she seems to be gone now

I think it's mainly because I'm way older than you and have more experience. Keep up creating characters and trying out different things and you will get to the point you want to eventually.
Zar is actually a more or less real animal and therefore it would be animal cruelty to put him in pants
