As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a nail artist.💅❤ Okay not really, as a self-taught artist though, I love to experiment in all different mediums. It has been 10 years since I have been doing nail art, so as a way to celebrate is to recreate some designs that I can remember 10 years ago.🎉
I remember my Mama buying a nail polish set from JCPenney's Sephora (back then when they use to sell nail polish), she asked me if I wanted some, and I got my first lucky seven colors (that I still have to this day😊❤). I don't know how it exactly how it happened, but I had an idea of making cool designs on my nails. Took my thinnest paint brush and first started painting. I never wanted to make my nails boring, so one color on every fingernail wasn't what I want anymore since childhood even though I first started nail art when I was just a Senior in high school.
Checker-board design was first with these nice colors: aqua blue💙, red❤, purple💜, and orange🧡. Why these fours colors? I'm Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan from the comics and the cartoons, and the year 2012 was a TMNT cartoon about to air on Nickelodeon. Leonardo wears the blue bandana, Raphael-red, Donatello-purple, and Michelangelo-orange.
