Description
For a firelizard clutch I’m planning to run. This is not finished, yet – I’m just putting this up here for reference purposes, so that my partner will see what I’m visualizing.
Based on the Gargoyle’s cartoon character Derek Maza.

The deep navy blue of the sky when stars first appear is the color of his hide. From nose to tail tip, the velvet of early night is broken only by the ebony color of the ridges along his neck, the talons on his feet, and the backs of his wings. Only on the underside of his wings is there a light in the gloom, for they are the warm red-brown color of burnt sienna. On the muscular side, this blue has an elegant way of moving which does nothing to mask the sense of purpose and confidence in his carriage.
