Description
Jynx is a pooka, an entity found in Celtic folklore known for their mischief. She found her way to Shrewsgate by accidentally getting herself bound to the backpack of a hitchiking traveler, and now resides in Shrewsgate Elementary, where she grew a fondness for the children and watches over their every move, protecting them from bullies, trespassers, and occasionally scaring truants.
Jynx is a rather powerful spirit, using her charm to manipulate mortals, or curse them with bad luck. Though nowadays she spends her time thriving on the attention from students creating urban legends about her and feeding off of it without having to lift a paw.
Despite being classified as a poltergeist, she occasionallly helps the Spirit Warriors by providing them with information, and the use of her powers, as long as they offer a decent compensation for it. But if she's angered enough, she won't hesitate to turn against them.
Jynx' favorite class to supervise are the kindergartners, she adores their innocent view on the world.
