I honestly know some bronies and one time just because I told one of my brony friends that I didn't like the show she said, "I'm sorry but I kinda hate you know." I was like WTF. After that we weren't really 'friends' anymore, like she would always get mad at me for my opinions and stuff..
But I totally agree that you shouldn't make fun of bronies before you get to know them. But they probable call them names because there are some really butt-hurt bronies out there.. Like they make fun of the people who don't like it and stuff..
And some bronies make fun of the people who aren't fans.
I honestly CAN'T stand the show but I don't mind that people watch it. As long as they leave me alone for not liking it I'm fine. (Plus yes I did watch some episodes and I HATED it)

Example: There was this one guy who posted a picture demoralizing this other brony's OC, and the victim's reaction was an overreaction. But the guy who demoralized it began to take it even further, and starting to call him autsitic for those actions. The majority of haters that I have met come to attack US, saying that our interests suck, using petty yet offensive name calling like "gay", or "faggot", or "autistic", or anything else of that nature, whereas I see very little fans attacking the haters for any reason, whether it be good or bad. That's not to say that I don't believe in bad or rabid bronies, but I have seen and met next to none. Haters, however... I have met only ONE good hater. And you're not him. If you consider bronies agreeing to your biased and rash judgements "good", then that needs to be reminded. I'll give you a well-known example. You call upon any brony and troll them or whatever, and they disagree with you. THEN, "you" would call upon your "friends" and spread the word that the brony you picked on was a rabid one. I, and everyone else for that matter, should see something wrong with that picture.
And regarding your autism comment, the only shame that SHOULD be felt should be from you using autism as an insult. If you actually knew me in person, you'd be ashamed of yourself to call me such names.
One more thing: The haters I've had the displeasure of seeing/meeting support extremism and violence, which include (but are not limited to) supporting genocide, believing in anti-christs, being neo-nazis, and supporting terrorism. I'm not exaggerating, this is based off of credible research and direct observation.

The vast majority I have seen and met actually AREN'T autistic. I have met one that is. Just one. If you're not going to respect anyone, then why should we respect you?
