Mae, short for maybelline due to her eye markings, came to us in a litter of newborn kittens. Mae started off incredibly tiny, seconded only to the runt, but quickly showed all of us that she had the largest and sweetest personality of all. Always calm, Mae loves to watch everyone and everything they do. She’s even polite, minding her paws as she curls up near whatever you are working on.
She especially loves watching people draw or paint. We all agree that people-watching is her favorite pastime.

That, and purring. One of her nicknames is purr-bucket. She's always purring! It’s to the point that even looking at her will make her purr so loudly that you have no choice but pet her until she’s had her fill and she finally walks away. Otherwise she just. wont. stop. She’s even woke people up before by purring in their ear. People are her favorite - no joke

I am happy to say that Mae was one foster who I just couldn't give up. As of today, she is almost eight years old, and is still purring strong.
