Ever since we were children,We've swung together on the swings,
Our feet high above the ground,
Holding tightly to the chains.
I tried to swing in time with you,
Tried to capture your beat,
But you changed the direction,
Swung away from me.
As i grew older, more mature,
I realised the time didn't matter,
The beat had already been captured,
Locked away in my heart.
No matter what direction you swing,
How high, how fast or slow,
I will be there swinging,
