Yay!! A new vector!! It's been what, a month since I uploaded my last? I was starting to get a little rusty there
This is a vector of an amazing sketch by ~tg-0 which is also called Theory And Practice! In addition to MLP I'm a huge fan of CDRR (Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers), and a certain *MysteriousKaos knows this, so when he saw the sketch he immediately sent me a note pointing me to it
I contacted ~tg-0 , who gave me permission to vector the sketch. I hope I did it and ~tg-0 justice! Go check out and favorite the original sketch if you get a chance!I plan on finishing up a few vectors I have sitting on the back-burner soon, possibly tomorrow or Friday. Between work, coding for Ponyscape, and doing Cutie Art Crusaders stuff I haven't had too much time to actually dig into my own art...
Anyhow, this was made using the latest beta of Ponyscape, but any version will open it (editing certain things may not work though). I did need to use a few inverse clips, so you must use Ponyscape to open the svg (otherwise a few clips will be borked

Haha, my thinking is that since Gadget's wrench is still massive that Twi shrank, although it's really totally up to the imagination of the viewer

Forget the scale issues, I'm wondering what this would look like if they both had black outlines, or both had colored outlines.

I don't know if Tress MacNeille did any voice work in the 1986 My Little Pony 'n Friends cartoon a few years before she was voicing Gadget in Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers.

Thanks!! Yeah, I can totally understand what you mean about Twi being more detailed than Gadget... I think that because I'm used to drawing Ponies, adding detail to Twilight came more naturally to me

This vector is epic! Those soft shades are very well done. ^^ I like the small details like how the eye lashes have their own shadow. The blending of the two styles is what I find most interesting in this though. Twilight has a nice thick outline while Gadget maintains that thin black outline you see in so many cartoons. Also I spotted a really small error on the corner tip of the wrench. Otherwise than that itty bitty thing, this looks fantastic!

Thanks!! I'll have to check out that wrench error tomorrow, although I think I may know what you're talking about... It was definitely a challenge to try to get the two styles to work together, and for the longest time while creating this they were at odds with each other, but I think once I added in some shading everything kinda smoothed out a bit
