Description
Twilight lay in bed, her blankets only covering half of her body. Near her fore-hooves lay an open book. She whimpered as she tossed and turned, she curled up into the fetal position her body shook, a look of terror oh her face. Suddenly with a frightened cry she opened her eyes. She sat up magically pulling the covers up to her neck. "That, that dream, it . . . it was so real." She said, talking to herself. She lay back down rolling over closing her eyes, trying to forget it, something was wrong, she sat up and pulled the covers to the side. Tears formed in the corners of her eyes as she looked down, The sheets were wet stained a light yellow, her fur ant tail were damp ans the smell of ammonia rose and filled her nostrils. She stared down at the mess for a few moments before stammering " I . . . I wet the bed?" She closed her eyes and wiped the tears away. " I can't have . . .I  . . I am way to old for this."

She looked down at the soiled sheets again, before pulling herself out of bed, magically pulling her urine soaked sheets off of the bed, she shivered in the cool night air and a few drops fell from her fur to the floor. "At least no one saw this" She thought as she went downstairs, she looked into the kitchen and saw Spike asleep at the table clutching a bowl of gems and sighed taking her sheets to the laundry room. Twilight felt like a little filly again, trying to hide her mess from the world, a tear rolled down her cheek as she headed to the bathroom to get a shower. After a long hot shower she went back upstairs and crawled into her spare bed with a sigh, she would clean her bed in the morning, she was exhausted and was quickly asleep wrapped in the warm, dry covers.

Hours later sunlight shone through the window onto the bed, Twilight woke up with a yawn and stretched as she got out of bed, she sleepily trotted downstairs to the kitchen and woke her assistant.  "Spike you need to wake up, it is morning." The baby dragon looked at her for a moment. "Wha? Oh Twilight .. right morning" He yawned and Twilight giggled, "Spike you have a ruby stuck to your cheek." He felt on one side then the other "Huh? " Spike pulled the gem off his scaly skin and through it into his mouth and munched on it. Twilight headed to the fridge, "Well since you have something I guess I can eat." She got herself some breakfast and sat at the table. Spike and Twilight talked for a while, she needed him to run some errands around town while she cleaned the library. He grumbled as she gave him a list and a bag of bits before sending him on his way.

After Spike left Twilight got to work, she took her cleaning supplies upstairs. She would start there with her soiled mattress. As she cleaned Twilight thought back to her dream from the night before, something had chased her. She remembered running through town, and out through Sweet Apple Acres, it just kept coming, she could not get away, it continued to chase her out into the Everfree forest. She had tripped and it had caught up with her. She couldn't remember much about what it was. All she could remember was a cold overpowering darkness and two glowing eyes.  She had felt so terrified so alone, she shook her head and dispersed those thoughts and got back to cleaning.

A few hours later she was finished with her cleaning. Twilight was happy she had gotten done ahead of schedule, she decided to treat herself to a nice snack as a reward, she sat in the kitchen with a slice of pie in front of her and smiles as she was about to dig in there was a knock at the door. "Oh! Coming!" Twilight got up and headed to the door and opened it with her magic. She was greeted with a "Hi Twilight!!!". She jumped at the shout before replying. "Hello Pinkie, do you have to shout?" Pinkie smiled and giggled " Sorry Twilight I am just excited!~." Pinkie gave Twilight an piece of paper. " I am having a sleep over tonight and you are invited!~" Twilight looked at he invitation and then at Pikie, "Well I am a couple hours ahead of schedule today, I will stop by tonight when I am finished with everything." Pinkie hugged Twilight "Cool! This is gonna be so much fun! I just need to go tell the others then get it all set up." Pinkie turned to leave "See you tonight Twilight!~" She called as she bounced off. Twilight waved at her friend before going back to her snack.
