sci fi concept for a mod project. Basicly the premise of this piece is that in the future you can go on vacations from reality and indefinitely have your consciousness roaming cyberspace for as long as you can pay your monthly bills to the owners of the pods.In the case of this picture the pods have been set up in a more run down industrial area

I've sort of thought about this sort of thing. Scary if it were to ever come true that people just lived in VR pods, but makes for good artwork.

I really dig how you do tech walls, stacking on all the pipes and blocks of electronics, but still maintaining a sense of order and functionality. The colours are great , too: is that all supposed to be made of bronze? It looks like a hybrid of old plumbing and computer terminals.
I would love to see more of your environmental and futuristic cityscape work.

I like the idea, it reminds me of a book i am reading by Tad Williams, the series is called Otherland. Its about a virtual reality network that people get trapped into of what I read so far.

i've been looking through your gallery for a bit now, so many nifty designs and atmospheric colour jorbs..but this one is just so packed with detail, and yet is crystal clear presentation wise (perhaps due to be awesome colour job, nice job with all the coloured lighting)
although...i must admit that my first reaction was to giggles, cuz i saw the title first at the quote 'the internet is like a series of tubes' popped into my head...and this is what it would look like...except awesome and utterly hard core.

Very awesome. I'm actually making a (Crappy) comic that runs on this idea. It's more of a parody of various sci fi shows and movies. (Star trek, Matrix, Star Gate, ect...)
