These two didn't get into trouble being on their own and buying drugs, but they sure did get into trouble being on their own and trying to find the people we were looking for!

Sal somehow managed to find a weird entrance into a strange pocket dimension type thing. Because of course they did. They went in alone initially, but after a minute of waiting outside, Spook got nervous and followed them.

There was a being in there that likes to strike bargains with people, and it was very perplexed by Sal because it couldn't read their thoughts the way it can with other creatures, and was angrily/panickedly saying something about how they weren't real before Spook came in.

It's something Sal in general thinks about a decent amount, but Spook doesn't really get it. Like - they're clearly real, he's talking to the and touching them and everything??

BUT UH YEAH ANYWAY

it said it could help us find the people we needed, and also that it could possibly tell Sal more about where they're from/what they are
So they ripped a piece of their arm off to give it since it needed a part of "something from outside" (and no, grass apparently does not count; Spook asked)

which is uh

I'm sure that's fine

Spook tried to dissuade them, but they were incredibly excited about the possibility of learning something about themself, and he's not very assertive, so he yielded.
